How I Handle Your Data

Elevate Growth is Stewart Read, a sole trader in the UK. This page says what I collect, why, how long I keep it and how to have it removed. It's short because I collect very little.

The free channel check

When you run the free check I collect three things: the YouTube channel you paste in, your email address, and which of the three goals you pick for the channel. I read your channel using YouTube's public data and open a few of the pages your videos link to, and I keep the result alongside your email so I know what you were shown.

I use it for one thing: to email you about the result, and to reply if you write back. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box and press the button. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email from me, and I'll delete what I hold.

Everything the check looks at is already public. It doesn't ask for a login, it can't see your analytics, and it doesn't touch anything private about your channel.

I don't sell, rent or pass your details to anyone else, and there's no mailing list attached to this: you won't be added to one by running the check.

I keep enquiry details for up to 24 months, so I can remember a conversation we've already had, then delete them.

Analytics and tracked links

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets cookies in your browser. If you arrived through a tracked link of mine, the click is recorded so I know which post or message brought you here.

None of that identifies you by name. If you'd rather not be counted, browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop it, and nothing on the site breaks without it.

Who else sees your data

The site runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and stores what you send. Your check result is also saved to my own Notion workspace, so I can see it when I reply, and a notification is sent to my phone through ntfy so I know a check has been run. Email reaches me through my own mail provider, and analytics is Google. Nobody else processes anything you send.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to me holding it at all. Email [email protected] and I'll answer within 30 days. There's nothing to pay and you don't need a reason.
