Case Study - Adam Stott / Big Business Entrepreneurs

Views Per Video Tripled. A Brand-New Channel. 49 Days.

How Stewart launched a new YouTube channel for Adam Stott's Big Business Entrepreneurs - and beat an established channel's numbers within weeks.

The client

Adam Stott is one of the UK's best-known business coaches, and Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE) is his coaching brand - helping business owners start, grow and scale.

YouTube is a core part of how the brand reaches new business owners.

The goal

Launch a dedicated new channel built around the business audit format - and make every part of the content engine perform: more views per video, stronger retention, and content that builds hours of know, like and trust for the brand.

And no slow build - the new channel had to prove itself against the established channel's numbers from day one.

The method.

YouTube Strategist / Manager

Two formats were tested to the same standard, the data picked the winner - and that verdict shaped the whole content plan. Every video earned its place on what it did for the channel, not on opinion.

With the show's format set, the retention work happened in post-production - an edit process Stewart managed, guided by what the retention data said to keep, cut and fix, making each upload measurably better than the last - paired with SEO-optimised packaging built to win the search and the click.

Filming days ran like broadcast: studio shoots directed with Adam on camera, then a seven-person team plus freelancers carried every video through a structured pipeline from shoot to publish - with clear creative direction at every step: what to make, what to fix, what to stop.

Nothing got wasted: every long-form became Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn and podcast episodes - 80 short-form videos and 16 podcast episodes in 16 weeks - multiplying the hours of know, like and trust every filming day produced for the brand.

The results.

Views

Before vs after the new channel strategy: average views per video more than tripled (up 218%), and average view duration rose 49% - a lift across the whole slate, not one outlier video. For the business, that means far more potential clients meeting the brand with every upload.

Reach

The new channel appeared in the suggested feed alongside The Diary of a CEO (16.2M subscribers) and Simon Squibb (2.34M) - and its first audit video overtook 82 days of the old channel's performance in just 11.

Retention

Average percentage viewed up 52% and final retention up 72% across three consecutive videos - with first-30-second retention lifted 41% through a quote-led intro and a tighter edit strategy.
